What am I doing? I have stated numerous times what I am doing. I am branding and have been providing services since I was a student at NationHouse that reflect a deep commitment to professionalism, strong work ethics, and high standards. This journey began at a young age, where I learned the importance of delivering quality and maintaining integrity in every task I undertook.
As a highly experienced professional dance consultant with a focus on West African dance instruction, I have had the privilege of sharing my passion for cultural expression through movement with students of all ages. My mission is to cultivate an appreciation for the rich history and traditions of West African dance while fostering physical fitness, teamwork, and personal growth.
With over two decades of experience working with numerous small businesses, dance studios, and nonprofits, including African Heritage Dancers and Drummers, Memory of African Culture, and Joy of Motion Dance Center, I have honed my expertise in developing engaging lesson plans, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse student needs, and maintaining high standards in dance instruction. My accomplishments include leading successful workshops, performances, and instructional sessions that have inspired and educated audiences across various community events and venues.
I am a proud alumna of NationHouse and Bell Multicultural High School. Following that, I pursued my college education at the Corcoran School of the Arts, graduating in 1997. My academic background, coupled with my hands-on experience, has equipped me with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the arts and entertainment industry.
